Job Description
Afterglow is seeking a highly professional, energetic, and sales-driven Front Desk Supervisor to manage the end-to-end client experience and daily operations of our location. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building meaningful client relationships, and has a strong background in retail sales, customer service, and operational excellence. As the face of the business, the Front Desk Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring every client receives an exceptional experience from arrival to departure while driving membership growth, retail revenue, and overall business performance. Responsibilities Manage the complete client experience, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service from check-in to check-out. Oversee the daily operations of the location to ensure efficiency, professionalism, and consistency. Drive membership sales, renewals, upgrades, and retention efforts. Promote and sell retail products, apparel, packages, and services while consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals. Educate clients on memberships, promotions, products, and service offerings to maximize revenue opportunities. Build strong client relationships and create a personalized, welcoming experience for every guest. Manage client scheduling, check-in/check-out procedures, phone communications, and operational workflows. Handle client concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently. Monitor inventory levels, receive shipments, stock merchandise, and maintain attractive retail displays. Ensure accurate cash handling, sales tracking, reporting, and daily reconciliation procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and retail environment. Support business growth by achieving membership, retail, apparel, and product sales goals. Partner with ownership and management to continuously improve client satisfaction and operational performance. Qualifications Previous experience in retail, wellness, hospitality, spa, salon, fitness, medical aesthetics, or another professional client-facing environment. Proven success in membership sales, retail sales, and customer relationship building. Experience selling apparel, skincare, wellness, beauty, or similar retail products preferred. Strong sales skills with the ability to confidently recommend products, services, and memberships. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Experience with point-of-sale systems, scheduling software, and basic computer applications. Professional appearance and demeanor required. Requirements Evening and weekend availability required. Ability to lift, carry, and move 25 pounds or more. Ability to stand and move throughout the workday. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Commitment to delivering a luxury-level client experience and representing the Afterglow brand with professionalism.
