About Us Farmhouse Artisan Market is a locally owned, family-run cannabis retail business focused on creating a welcoming, elevated customer experience while operating with professionalism, compliance, and community pride. We are growing and looking for a highly organized, dependable professional to help strengthen the systems and structure behind the scenes. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys building order, solving problems, and helping a business run smoothly. Position Summary The Business Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the company. This role will work closely with ownership and outside partners (CPA, payroll/HR providers, insurance, vendors, licensing agencies) to ensure deadlines are met, records are organized, and internal operations stay efficient. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers and systems, and able to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and follow-through. Core ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Operations Manage calendars, deadlines, recurring tasks, and administrative workflows Maintain organized digital filing systems and business records Coordinate internal communications and follow-up items Support ownership with task management and project execution Create and improve systems, SOPs, and organizational processes Finance & Accounting Support Organize invoices, receipts, vendor statements, and financial records Support accounts payable workflows and payment schedules Reconcile basic internal records and flag discrepancies Assist with reporting from POS, spreadsheets, and business systems Prepare organized monthly packets for CPA/bookkeeper review Help maintain budgeting and expense tracking tools Payroll / HR Coordination Maintain scheduling, time off requests and personnel documentation Track deadlines related to labor posters, renewals, and compliance items Support recruiting logistics and hiring coordination as needed Compliance / Corporate Administration Maintain licenses, permits, insurance certificates, and renewals Track key filing dates and ensure timely submissions Organize corporate documents and state filings Maintain audit-ready records and accessible documentation Coordinate requests from legal, accounting, or regulatory partners Vendor & External Partner Management Communicate with vendors regarding statements, paperwork, COIs, W9s, and scheduling Coordinate with service providers such as accountants, payroll companies, insurance brokers, IT, and consultants Ensure requests are completed accurately and on time Retail / Business Support Assist with promotions calendar logistics and internal execution support Support store operations with administrative needs Help ownership stay focused on growth, leadership, and high-value priorities QualificationsRequired 3+ years experience in operations, administration, office management, bookkeeping support, or business coordination Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of discretion and professionalism with confidential information Comfortable working independently and managing priorities Strong computer skills (Google Workspace, Excel, email, cloud systems) Preferred QuickBooks or bookkeeping support experience Payroll / HR administration experience Retail or multi-location business experience Cannabis industry familiarity Experience working with small business ownership teams Key Traits We Value Ownership mentality Calm under pressure Highly reliable Naturally organized Strong follow-through Process minded Resourceful problem solver Positive, professional attitude

$26.46 - $38.00 per hour
