What you'll do: The Front Desk Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the department, as well as perform all duties associated with front desk. Check in/check out and concierge will be monitored for an efficient and accurate workflow. Staff shift assignments and coverage will be coordinated by the Supervisor. The Supervisor acts as the direct support for the team and supports the policies and protocols set by leadership. Maintains a high level of quality customer service for the department and offers assistance to all providers, radiology staff, clinical staff and patients as it relates to the front desk operations and scheduling.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Supervise Front Desk staff at main location and satellite offices to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Responsible for vendor management and ordering of supplies and equipment. Establishes and maintains workflows for check-in and check-out. Makes day-to-day decisions to improve efficiency. Working closely with Clinical staff and Physicians. Responsible for performance management of front desk staff Fosters teamwork, taking the initiative to teach, coach and mentor team members and train new hires. Partners with human resources for department staffing needs Creates Front Desk staff schedule, approves time off requests, and manages callouts. Works with Administrative Supervisor to assign coverage. Covers team members if needed. Travels to satellite offices for coverage if needed. Provides superior customer service and works on patient complaints and requests. Verifies timecards and missed punches. Responsible for daily collections and equipment inventory. Updates training manuals with workflow procedures and reviews with staff. Conducts monthly department meetings with Front Desk staff. Other duties as assigned. Tracks and completes no-show and cancellation reports. Ensures proper check-in and check-out. Collect patient balances. Schedules follow-up appointments. Complete tasks and other clerical assignments. Work Orders tab including WC Status Reports. Provide outstanding customer service and assistance to patients. Support Call Center when needed.
Who you are:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 2 years' experience in a Medical Office desired. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be organized and detail oriented.
