Job Description

Mission:
The mission of the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board is to protect the public from unauthorized, unqualified, and improper or unethical services by ensuring applied behavior analysis services received by the citizens of Louisiana meet or exceed the established, published standards. Overview of the
Role:
The position provides comprehensive administrative and database support for the registration, transfer, discontinuation, and renewal of Registered Line Technicians. The position requires accurate data entry, record maintenance, filing, correspondence handling, and interaction with applicants, registrants, supervisors, and visitors. The position is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely registration records, ensuring data integrity within the LBAB database, processing a high volume of applications and status changes, and providing administrative support for the annual renewal of a substantial number of licenses, certifications, and registrations. The position requires strong attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, computer proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive administrative responsibilities An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies:

Following Policies & Procedures:
The ability to comply with the organization's policies and procedures, State Civil Service rules, and all applicable federal and state laws. This position will be filled as a Job Appointment. In the event that funds become available for a permanent position, the employee may be converted to a probational appointment. One year of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience. The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here .
Job Duties:
As an Administrative Coordinator, you'll help create a positive first impression for every person who walks through our doors. In this role, you will: Process a high volume of applications or documents accurately Data entry and database management Scanning, indexing, and maintaining electronic records Filing, retrieving, and researching documents Inventory and supply management Receiving and distributing mail/packages Front-desk and visitor/customer service Following established procedures while exercising independent judgment Maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines At least two years of clerical experience
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type:
Job Appointment. This position will be filled as a Job Appointment. In the event that funds become available for a permanent position, the employee may be converted to a probational appointment.
Career Progression:
This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.
Work Schedule:
Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Compensation:
