Job Description

Job description: Graphic Image/GiGi New York, a family-owned leather goods manufacturer located in Melville, NY is seeking a qualified Administrative Coordinator with EDI and Retail Logistics experience. This position will assist the Sales team and the Director of Operations in the day-to-day management of Graphic Image and GiGi New York's large retail account orders ensuring the execution of their order management through shipping is managed.
Key Responsibilities:
Process customer orders and invoicing including all aspects of order handling, processing and shipping: Coordinate and direct shipments and deliveries. Process all EDI documents, create carton labels, and order price tickets. Process Bill of Lading, ASN (Advance Shipping Notice), And Commercial Invoices. Assist Account Managers with production and shipping departments to ensure orders are completed, and packed according to the specifications of the Vendor Manuals supplied by the customer. Keep Account Manager abreast of all orders, changes and/or potential issues. Manage and handle all invoices and charge backs. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve department and company goals.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Minimum 3 years previous experience working with Retail accounts with custom specifications for order processing through delivery. Experience working with transportation documentation such as ASNs, B/L's, freight bills, P/O's etc. Strong computer skills with the aptitude to learn new software systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with True Commerce, DSCO, SPS, Open Text and other customer portals a plus. Knowledge of Crystal Reports & MAS 200 a plus Experience working with warehouse a plus Experience working with Large Retail Vendor Compliance Manuals a plus Professional Sales & Customer Service acumen. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated decision-making ability towards solving problems, while working under pressure and effectively communicating these solutions to co-workers and customers. High degree of personal organization and ability to multi-task and prioritize. Excellent time management skills.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
