Job Description

Overview The Akron, OH office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an Office Administrative Coordinator with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in an administrative role, preferably in a legal environment. The position assists the Office Administrator with the day-to-day administrative functions of the office and handles assignments as requested by the Managing Partner(s), Deputy Managing Partner(s) and Office Administrator (aka office leadership). Responsibilities Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

Work closely with the Office Administrator as a liaison to the office, including preparing/handling various reports, projects and special assignments as requested by the office leadership. Coordinate background and conflict checks for all New Hires, as needed, including both the iManage searches conducted by Information Governance and the iTimekeep Conflicts Checks conducted by the LBBS Conflicts Department. In addition, work with the hiring partner and the candidate to obtain needed waivers. Provides assistance with client development requests as requested by the office leadership or Marketing Department, including coordination and management of local client seminars, other business development events and accreditation of all continuing legal education courses offered through the local office's accredited provider certification. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Proficiency in the use of Word, Outlook and Excel Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required Lewis Brisbois is not accepting search firm submissions for this position.
