Food & Beverage Administrative Coordinator The Porter Hotel Portland, OR Job Details Full-time $19 - $21 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building Executive administrative support Attention to detail Food and beverage industry expertise Materials management in food and beverage Time management Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food & Beverage Administrative Coordinator to support the daily administrative operations of our Food & Beverage department. This role is responsible for coordinating schedules, supporting payroll, managing purchasing activities, organizing vendor relationships, and providing overall administrative support to ensure efficient department operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities Create, maintain, and adjust employee schedules to support operational needs. Support and verify payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Place food, beverage, and operational supply orders while maintaining inventory levels. Schedule and coordinate vendor appointments, deliveries, and service visits. Provide overall administrative support to the Food & Beverage leadership team. Maintain organized department records, invoices, and documentation. Assist with budget tracking, expense reporting, invoice processing and reconciliation. Communicate effectively with managers, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Support special events, meetings, and department projects as needed. Perform other administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous administrative assistant/coordinator experience required. Previous food and beverage hospitality experience, preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling/payroll software. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. High level of professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
