Cultural Programs Administrative Coordinator - Japanese Bilingual Japanese/English bilingual is a MUST.
Location:
Los Angeles, CA |
Primarily On-site Status:
Temporary, Full-time Assignment:
October 2026 - March/April 2027
Work Hours:
10:00 AM-6:00 PM (Could be flexible)
Hourly Rate:
$28 - 30/hour
Remote Work:
Up to 2 days/week may be available with approval

Provided Summary Our client is seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Administrative Coordinator to support cultural and arts exchange programs. The role mainly involves administrative coordination, Japanese business correspondence, document preparation, and event support. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with headquarters and external organizations in Japanese and English Prepare documents, emails, and administrative paperwork Support grant and cultural exchange programs Assist with exhibition and event coordination Support event setup, reception, and photography Process payments and organize files Perform general administrative duties Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional work experience Business-level Japanese and English Strong Japanese business writing and email skills Administrative or office support experience Strong organizational and communication skills Basic Microsoft 365 skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams Interest in Japanese culture and cultural exchange Additional Information Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for events. Work hours may be adjusted accordingly. This is a temporary position with monthly contract renewal.
