R&D Electrical is growing, and we're looking for a Remote Operations & Administrative Coordinator to help keep our customers, technicians, schedule, communication, and day-to-day operations running smoothly. This is not a basic data-entry position. You'll play an important role in the daily operation of the company and will be trusted to own your responsibilities, solve problems, follow through, and keep things moving without needing to be constantly reminded.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll help keep the operation organized from the first customer call through scheduling, service, invoicing, and customer follow-up.
Your responsibilities will include:
Customer Calls & Communication Answer incoming customer calls professionally and promptly. Work toward answering calls within two rings whenever reasonably possible . Communicate with homeowners, technicians, sales, and ownership. Respond to customer questions and requests in a timely manner. Manage the company's business email. Scheduling & Customer Coordination Schedule residential service appointments. Manage and adjust the daily schedule. Communicate schedule changes with customers and technicians. Confirm appointments approximately 24 hours before the scheduled visit. Make sure technicians have accurate customer and job information before arriving. Coordinate with the sales team regarding expected job durations so the schedule remains accurate. Customer Follow-Up & Reviews Follow up with customers after completed jobs. Make sure customers are satisfied with the service provided. Identify and communicate any customer concerns that need attention. Request Google reviews from satisfied customers. Deliver the review link to customers through the appropriate communication method. Document customer feedback and follow-up in the CRM. Invoicing & Administrative Operations Create and send customer invoices. Follow up on outstanding invoices and payments. Work toward completed jobs being paid within 24 hours whenever reasonably possible. Keep customer and job records accurate. Maintain estimates, appointments, job notes, invoices, and follow-up activities in the CRM. Log company transactions and maintain appropriate records in QuickBooks. Marketing & Customer Reactivation You'll also help us stay connected with our existing customers and generate additional opportunities through: Email campaigns SMS campaigns Postcard campaigns Seasonal promotions Customer reactivation campaigns You'll have an opportunity to bring creative ideas to the table and help develop campaigns with the owner and sales team.
OWNERSHIP IS A BIG PART OF THIS ROLE
We're not looking for someone who needs to be told what to do every hour. We want someone who sees something that needs attention and takes ownership of it. If a customer needs a follow-up, you follow up. If the schedule has a problem, you work to solve it. If information is missing from a job, you get it. If an invoice hasn't been paid, you follow up. If you don't know the answer to a question, you find the right person, get the answer, and make sure it gets communicated. We want someone who closes loops. You'll have the support and direction you need from the owner and team, but we're looking for someone who can take responsibility for their areas and see things through to completion.

EXPERIENCE THAT WILL HELP
Experience with any of the following is a plus: Office administration Operations coordination Dispatching or scheduling Customer service Home-service businesses Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or construction CRM software QuickBooks Customer follow-up and reactivation Email or SMS marketing Electrical experience is not required. If you're organized, technologically capable, great with customers, and willing to learn our systems and processes, we can teach you the R&D Electrical side of the business.
REMOTE WORK REQUIREMENTS
Because this is a full-time remote position, you'll need: Reliable high-speed internet. A reliable computer. A quiet, professional workspace. The ability to make and receive business calls. Availability Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM . The ability to stay focused, responsive, and available throughout the workday. This position requires consistent communication with customers, technicians, sales, and ownership during business hours.

When you're doing your job well: Customers know what's happening. Technicians know where they're going and what they're walking into. The schedule stays organized. Invoices and payments don't get forgotten. Customers get followed up with. Google reviews get requested. The CRM stays current. Emails get handled. Marketing follow-up gets executed. And the owner doesn't have to constantly chase administrative tasks or wonder whether something got done. That's the level of ownership we're looking for.
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
$25-$30 PER HOUR Pay will be based on experience and qualifications. Full-Time — 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Remote
