Job Description

Description of Job Duty:
Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the University Housing and Residential Life front offices, which includes supervising 1-2 student workers, answer department phone and email messages and referring questions to the appropriate offices, greet front office visitors, tour groups and assist with website support. Assist with maintaining budget records and balances. Assist with scheduling appointments for staff calendars.
Office supply management:

Minimum Qualifications:
Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the University Housing and Residential Life front offices, which includes supervising 1-2 student workers, answer department phone and email messages and referring questions to the appropriate offices, greet front office visitors, tour groups and assist with website support. Assist with maintaining budget records and balances. Assist with scheduling appointments for staff calendars.
Office supply management:
track inventory, order supplies and keep supply areas organized.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of related general office experience. Customer service experience with a positive attitude. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, parents, and the general public. Basic computer knowledge and experience with various office software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to work with a diverse population; handling a variety of questions and concerns. Must possess good organizational skills and have the ability to multitask.

Physical Demands:
Typical hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with an hour for lunch.
Work Hours:
General knowledge of Banner and Star-Rez programs. Supervisory Experience.

Salary:
Level S2, Grade 4.
