Job Description

We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to support daily office operations and help ensure smooth communication across a home health environment in Nashville, Tennessee. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple administrative priorities in a fast-paced setting. The role focuses on coordinating schedules, handling incoming calls with professionalism, and providing dependable administrative support to staff, patients, and caregivers.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day administrative activities to keep office workflows organized and efficient. Answer inbound calls promptly, address routine inquiries, and direct messages to the appropriate team members. Coordinate calendars for staff and leadership, including arranging meetings, appointments, and schedule updates. Support scheduling activities by confirming visits, tracking changes, and helping maintain accurate appointment information. Prepare, organize, and maintain documentation and records in accordance with department procedures. Assist home health teams with clerical tasks that improve communication and continuity of service. Monitor administrative requests and follow up on open items to help ensure timely completion. Provide general office support such as data entry, correspondence preparation, and filing as needed. Experience providing administrative support in an office or healthcare setting. Background in health or a related care environment is preferred. Ability to handle a high volume of inbound calls with courtesy and accuracy. Proven skill in calendar coordination, scheduling, and managing shifting priorities. Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and follow-through. Comfortable using standard office software and maintaining accurate electronic records. Clear written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
