We are seeking a Bilingual HSE Project Site Coordinator to support Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities for contractors working on-site. This position will serve as a key resource for contractor onboarding, safety orientation, documentation, compliance, and day-to-day safety support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with contractors, addressing safety concerns, maintaining accurate HSE records, and ensuring contractors understand and follow site safety requirements. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are required, as a significant portion of the contractor workforce is Spanish-speaking. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support the onboarding process for new contractors, including HSE orientation, safety training, documentation, and site requirements. Assist contractors with understanding and complying with company HSE policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Serve as a point of contact for contractor safety questions and concerns. Communicate safety expectations clearly to contractors and reinforce safe work practices. Assist with identifying, documenting, and addressing safety issues, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards. Conduct or assist with safety orientations, toolbox talks, and other HSE-related meetings. Review contractor safety documentation to ensure required information is complete and current. Maintain accurate HSE records, training documentation, incident reports, and contractor files. Assist with incident and near-miss reporting and follow-up. Help monitor contractor compliance with PPE, work permits, site access requirements, and other safety procedures. Communicate HSE information effectively to a diverse contractor workforce, including Spanish-speaking employees. Work closely with supervisors, project managers, contractors, and HSE leadership to resolve safety concerns. Assist with safety audits, inspections, and corrective action follow-up. Promote a positive safety culture and encourage contractors to proactively identify and report hazards. Perform other HSE-related duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in HSE, safety coordination, construction safety, industrial safety, manufacturing, or a related environment. Experience working with contractors or a contractor workforce strongly preferred. Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and OSHA requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact professionally with employees, contractors, supervisors, and management. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation. Ability to identify safety concerns and follow through on corrective actions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications. Bilingual English/Spanish required Ability to communicate safety information effectively to Spanish-speaking contractors is highly valued.
