Full Job Description The Company:
IV League, Inc is a leading provider of post-acute pharmaceutical services for southern California. We partner with major hospitals, health plans, physicians, and surgeons to provide the transition of care from hospital to home setting. Job Posting We have an immediate opening for a Revenue Cycle Specialist - Collections. The primary responsibility of this person is to review the patient's financial charts and follow up with the appropriate health plan to settle the unpaid/underpaid claims. This is a fast-paced environment with an amazing opportunity to be part of the IV League family. Key Competencies Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience in analyzing Explanation of Benefit reports. Working knowledge of DOFRs Strong ability to compose collection and appeal letters Must be able to collaborate, set priorities, and organize work to meet deadlines, ensuring compliance with established processes, policies, and regulations Strong computer skills Minimum Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of Medical Billing/Collection experience. Experience in Medical billing in various settings such as hospitals, multispecialty clinics, pharmaceuticals, and ancillary providers. Familiarity with ICD-10 and HCPCS coding. Strong Math Skills. Experience in collection from both PPO and HMO insurance systems. Home Infusion Pharmacy billing/collections experience is preferable.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs. Prolonged sitting
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day/40 hours per week.
