We are seeking a
FULL-TIME
Sr. Medical Collections Specialist with a minimum of 3 years' experience in medical collections.
Requirements and/or Responsibilities include:
. Experience in physician billing & collections of medical claims (form 1500). . Understanding of an Explanation of Benefits (claim denials and reason codes). . Knowledge of CMS claim processing guidelines for submission of Corrected Claims, Reconsiderations and Appeals to effectively resolve denials and collect payments. • Effectively communicate with insurance companies, online Portals, document and tasking of accounts for future follow-up. • Ability to multitask and work independently as a team player in a fast-paced environment always demonstrating professionalism. . Candidate should have good verbal, reading, and writing skills as well as be self-motivated, meticulous and organized with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel. We provide excellent benefits the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. There is a 90 day employment probation period from date of employment which is required to satisfy the full-time status. Work Remotely is not an option
