Job Description

The Collector's role resolves accounts after billing by pursuing appropriate reimbursement from payers; performs follow‑up, documentation, and resolution activity within policy; performs timely payer follow‑up; documents all actions thoroughly in the patient accounting system; escalates complex accounts or systemic payer issues to the supervisor; and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of hospital insurance collections across all payers (government & commercial) Preferred Ability to resolve most accounts without escalation.
