Till is hiring a full-time Collections Specialist to join our team in Boise. We're looking for someone who is confident on the phone, communicates well, enjoys solving problems, and can have difficult conversations while still treating customers with respect. This is a Monday-Friday, in-office position with no weekends. Collections experience is helpful, but it is not required . We provide training and are open to candidates with customer service, call center, sales, banking, lending, or other phone-based experience. Compensation & Schedule Starting pay: $20/hour + big performance bonus Full-time, 40 hours per week Monday-Friday No weekends In-office position in Boise, Idaho Paid training Benefits Health, dental and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid sick time Referral program Performance bonus opportunities What You'll Do As a Collections Specialist, you'll work directly with customers who have fallen behind on their loans. Your goal is to understand their situation, re-establish communication, and find realistic repayment solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Contact customers by phone, text, email and other approved communication methods Work with customers to establish workable repayment arrangements Listen to customers and understand their individual financial situations Negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining a professional and respectful customer experience Maintain accurate notes, contact information and account records Locate customers using available skip-tracing tools and information Follow up consistently on delinquent accounts Work with the Till team on accounts requiring additional collection or recovery efforts Follow all applicable federal and state debt-collection requirements Meet individual and team performance goals Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Are comfortable spending a significant part of your day communicating with customers by phone Are confident, persistent and professional Communicate clearly and listen well Can remain calm and constructive during difficult conversations Are dependable and self-motivated Are comfortable working toward measurable performance goals Have good computer and keyboarding skills Learn new software quickly Have strong attention to detail Enjoy solving problems and finding solutions Experience Collections experience is preferred but not required . Experience in customer service, call centers, sales, banking, lending, account management or another customer-facing role is a plus.
