This role is responsible for managing business-to-business (B2B) collections, maintaining positive customer relationships, and helping to improve cash flow through timely collection of outstanding receivables. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or business services environment and be comfortable communicating with customers regarding payment status, account discrepancies, and outstanding balances. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of business-to-business customer accounts and follow up on outstanding invoices. Contact customers regarding past-due balances via phone and email while maintaining professional relationships. Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, short pays, deductions, and billing issues. Monitor aging reports and prioritize collection efforts to improve cash flow. Collaborate with customer service, sales, and accounting teams to resolve payment delays. Document collection activities, customer communications, and payment commitments. Assist with account reconciliations and other accounts receivable functions as needed. Requirements Previous collections, accounts receivable, or credit and collections experience. Business-to-business (B2B) collections experience preferred. Experience reviewing aging reports and resolving outstanding balances. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems. Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial industry experience is a plus.
