About this position:
The Recover Specialist role is responsible for preserving the Credit Union's assets by collecting delinquent and/or charged off accounts via payment arrangements and/or making recommendations to management for legal/small claims action. What you'll do: Contacting delinquent and/or charged off accounts by phone, mail and email; taking appropriate action to establish payment arrangement and/or negotiating settlements with members. Skip tracing for new information for members including address, contact information, place of employment, assets, etc. Processing incoming garnishments, payment and lien releases. Preparing legal/small claim recommendations. Adhere to and champion our core values of curious minds, collaborative hearts, and continuous excellence. What you'll bring: One to three years of similar or related experience. Prior experience working for a credit union is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage time and work load effectively. What you'll get:
