Bankruptcy Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking an Early Stage Collections Representative to assist borrowers with mortgage accounts that are in the early stages of delinquency. This role focuses on customer communication, payment resolution, borrower assistance, and providing support for default servicing functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with borrowers via phone, email, text, and mail regarding delinquent mortgage accounts. Discuss payment status, available assistance options, and resolve customer inquiries. Collect required borrower information and documentation in compliance with investor, insurer, and regulatory guidelines. Assess borrower financial situations and identify appropriate solutions. Collect past-due payments and establish payment arrangements or repayment plans. Educate borrowers on options available to help avoid further delinquency or default. Provide customer service support related to payment history, escrow accounts, balances, and other servicing questions. Support additional default servicing functions, including loss mitigation, foreclosure, and bankruptcy processes.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive financial conversations professionally and empathetically. Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Experience in collections, mortgage servicing, banking, or financial services preferred.
Pay:
$48,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
