Credit & Collections Specialist Location:

Hillside, NJ (Fully Onsite)

Salary:

$80,000-$85,000 (Up to $90,000 for the right candidate)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 7:30 AM-4:30 PM Our client, a well-established and growing company in the construction services industry, is seeking an experienced Credit & Collections Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a high-volume commercial collections environment and enjoys partnering with cross-functional teams to drive results. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the collections process for a large commercial portfolio while working closely with Sales and Operations in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of approximately 300 commercial customer accounts Perform high-volume B2B collections through phone and email outreach Follow up on past-due invoices and negotiate payment arrangements Research and resolve customer billing disputes in partnership with Sales and Operations Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate account records Prepare and analyze AR Aging, DSO, and other collection reports Participate in weekly meetings with the Sales team to review collection strategies and outstanding balances Maintain strong customer relationships while driving timely collections Prioritize workload and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

5+ years of business-to-business (B2B) collections experience Experience managing a high-volume commercial portfolio of 300+ accounts Strong account reconciliation and dispute resolution experience Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and reporting Experience preparing AR Aging and DSO reports Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary:
