•23/hour (based on experience) Temporary role with potential for permanent hire Start date: ASAP The Role We're hiring a Collections Specialist to support accounts receivable and reduce outstanding balances across an established client base. This role combines collections, customer service, and problem-solving, and is ideal for someone who can manage accounts while maintaining strong client relationships. What You'll Do Manage AR aging and follow up on delinquent accounts Make outbound collection calls and send professional email communications Resolve billing issues and customer disputes Maintain detailed account notes and collection activity Identify root causes of delinquency and escalate when needed Track payment arrangements and ensure follow-through Collaborate internally to resolve discrepancies Support reporting and monitoring of assigned accounts What We're Looking For 2-3 years of collections or related experience Strong communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving ability Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience with systems like PeopleSoft, NetSuite, or similar Preferred B2B collections experience Associate degree (or higher) in Business or related field ERP experience (PeopleSoft, NetSuite, Sage)
