IRVING, TX.

Job Summary The Cash Operations Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing, application, reconciliation, and reporting of cash receipts across multiple business units. This role supports customer accounts, ensures compliance with financial controls, investigates payment exceptions, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve cash-related issues. The position plays a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Applies customer payments accurately using remittance information. Processes ACH, wire, lockbox, check, and credit card payments. Researches and resolves unapplied, unidentified, and unposted cash transactions. Reviews and validates remittance data received through EDI, email, PDF, Excel, and banking systems. Ensures daily workload is completed within established service-level expectations. Prioritizes daily workload to meet service-level expectations and business deadlines. Performs account and general ledger reconciliations. Investigates and resolves payment discrepancies and exceptions. Monitor unapplied cash balances and partner with collections and customers to obtain remittance details. Collaborates with Credit, Collections, Accounting, Treasury, external customers, and key stakeholders to resolve cash-related issues. Responds to inquiries regarding payment posting, customer balances, and account research. Required Skills Minimum 2 years of relevant finance operations experience, preferably in accounts receivable. Experience with high-volume transaction processing. ERP system experience, preferably SAP. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Knowledge of reconciliations, payment processing, and financial controls. Familiarity with banking platforms and electronic payment methods. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related fields preferred. What's in this Cash Operations Specialist position for you?

Pay Details:
