Job Description

Lockhart, Morris & Montgomery, Inc. is seeking to expand our team of world-class debt collection professionals. At Lockhart, Morris & Montgomery, Inc., we offer our agents the opportunity to earn over $50,000 annually. We do not cap or limit commission payouts because we believe in rewarding our agents for their contributions to the agency's success. The estimated hourly rate ranges from $17 to $25, which includes a base pay of $17 per hour plus commissions. However, there are perks that go beyond compensation. These include a stress-free environment that is absent of micromanagement, our agents are part of a cohesive team that motivates and encourages one another, and our management team operates on servant-based leadership. The day-to-day responsibilities for our debt collection agents include skip tracing, portfolio management, conflict resolution, payment negotiation, accepting payments, and making a high volume of manual phone calls. Applicants for the Debt Collection Agent position should meet the following criteria: A minimum of two years of third-party debt collections experience A strong work ethic A commitment to excellence Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Be proficient in conflict resolution and negotiation Possess a knowledgeable understanding of skip tracing Thorough understanding of industry regulations, including FDCPA, FCRA, and TCPA Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to type 40wpm Ability to commute to Richardson, Texas for the 2 week training and 90 day nesting period
