ASAP Personnel is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and motivated Collections Specialist to join our team at our Addison, TX office. 00 per hour Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of past-due accounts, initiating timely collection efforts via phone, email, and written correspondence. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, invoice disputes, and payment issues in a professional and timely manner. Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients and customers while maintaining strong working relationships. Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the collections/accounting system. Cross-reference invoices, purchase orders, and account statements to resolve discrepancies. Coordinate with internal departments (sales, accounting, client services) to resolve account issues. Prepare and distribute regular reports on collection status, aging accounts, and outstanding balances. Follow up consistently with clients throughout the collections process to ensure timely resolution. Meet collection goals and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO) while providing excellent customer service. Qualifications Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, credit, or a related finance/accounting role required. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting/ERP systems preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus, though not required. Experience with factoring, staffing industry collections, or Avionte/similar ATS/accounting platforms is a plus. Only applicants with a resume will be considered. Knowledge of Houston/DFW is a plus.
