We are looking for someone who is confident on the phone, professional, persistent, and comfortable discussing outstanding balances and securing payment, with a working knowledge of collections law. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in medical billing, healthcare collections, patient accounts, or accounts receivable , with a strong preference for candidates with direct collections experience. Compensation $40,000-$45,000 base salary + 10% commission on amounts collected This position offers significant earning potential for someone who is motivated and effective at collecting outstanding balances. Responsibilities Make outbound calls regarding outstanding patient balances and accounts receivable Professionally explain balances, insurance payments, and patient financial responsibility Secure payments and establish payment arrangements when appropriate Follow up consistently on outstanding accounts Document all calls, payment commitments, and account activity Handle potentially difficult conversations professionally and confidently Work closely with BioMedix billing and management teams to resolve account issues Meet individual collection and performance goals Qualifications Medical collections experience strongly preferred Experience in medical billing, patient accounts, healthcare A/R, or collections preferred Excellent telephone and communication skills Confident and comfortable asking for payment Persistent and results-driven without sacrificing professionalism Strong organizational and follow-up skills Ability to handle objections and difficult conversations Comfortable working in a performance-based environment What We're Looking For We want someone who is great on the phone and knows how to collect .
