Houston, Texas 77055 Temp to hire opportunity Weekly Pay with direct deposit or pay card When you work through The Reserves Network, you are eligible to enroll in dental, vision and medical insurance as well as 401K, direct deposit and our referral bonus program Job Summary The Collections Specialist will carry out a variety of Collections tasks to collect payment towards delinquent accounts and monitor accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.

Responsibilities:

Make outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations ensure they have everything they need to pay their balance in accordance with their payment terms Minimize bad debt risk and maximize accounts receivable (AR) collections Monitor AR aging reports and contact delinquent customer accounts for payment Negotiate customer disputes to resolution and document root cause Establish payment arrangements with customers, maintain detailed records of all collection call activity and conduct timely follow-up to maximize cash collections Respond to internal/external customer inquiries regarding status of customer accounts Interact regularly and communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, sales personnel, and management regarding credit issues, policies, and procedures to ensure mutual understanding and positive customer experience Maintain accurate credit, collections files and notes for each customer in

JDE Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of one+ years A/R Collections experience Intermediate experience in Microsoft Suite including Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivots, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams) Knowledge of cash applications and collection procedures Experience reading AR aging reports Experience with large ERP system a plus; JDE software knowledge preferred
