We are currently searching for a BHPH Account Manager who has a high level of integrity, is hardworking and motivated to join our team. Job Position- BHPH Account Collector Position Summary The BHPH Account Collector is responsible for managing all customer accounts within the Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH) portfolio. This role ensures timely collection of payments, monitors account performance, maintains accurate records, and provides excellent customer service while protecting the dealership's financial interests. Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor all active BHPH customer accounts. Collect and process payments (in-person, phone, and electronic). Contact customers regarding late or missed payments in a professional and consistent manner. Set up, track, and enforce payment arrangements or extensions when approved. Maintain accurate account documentation, notes, and payment history in the dealership system. Communicate regularly with customers to resolve account issues and provide assistance. Coordinate with the repossession department or vendors when necessary. Track and report on delinquency rates, repossessions, and recovery efforts. Ensure compliance with dealership policies, contracts, and applicable state laws. Build and maintain positive customer relationships to encourage successful loan repayment. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in collections, finance, or automotive BHPH preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain professional and calm in challenging situations. Basic knowledge of finance and lending practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dealership management software. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required We are seeking someone who: Takes ownership of their responsibilities. Is highly organized and detail-oriented. Follows up consistently. Works independently with minimal supervision. Is comfortable enforcing company policies while maintaining professionalism.
