CLASS A CNC MILL / LATHE

Machinist Main functions include

CNC MILL / LATHE

machining of critical parts including CNC setups. Training entry level Machinist not available at this time.

MUST HAVE JOB SHOP ENVIRONMENT WORK EXPERIENCE USING FANUC CONTROLS AND LIVE TOOLING ON YOUR RESUME. MUST HAVE OWN TOOLING.

Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining specifications. Edit programs at the machine Set up and operate CNC Mills / Lathes and other precision machinery. Utilize CAM programming to optimize machining processes. Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, ETC. to ensure precision. Maintain tooling and equipment, adhering to safety and lean manufacturing practices. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues. Our work is primarily short run, close tolerance and interesting. Must be motivated and computer literate. Our shop is located in South Houston off I45 South between College Street and Edgebrook near SH3. We offer a Clean Air Conditioned/Heated shop in a Non Smoking Environment.
