$16-25 an hour, negotiable based on experience About the Position Elite Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced DME Billing Specialist to join our team in Mobile, Alabama. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) billing and understand the day-to-day requirements of working with insurance claims, reimbursements, and billing processes. This is a full-time position with Monday-Thursday working in the office and Friday working remotely . Responsibilities

• Process and submit DME claims to insurance companies and other payers
• Follow up on outstanding and unpaid claims
• Research and resolve billing and claim issues
• Review accounts for accuracy and completeness
• Handle claim denials, rejections, and appeals
• Verify insurance and billing information as needed
• Maintain accurate patient and billing records
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims and reimbursement
• Work efficiently to meet billing and collection goals
• Perform other billing-related duties as needed

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 2 years of DME billing experience
• Strong understanding of DME billing and insurance reimbursement processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• 5+ years of DME billing experience
• Experience with Brightree software
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing
• Certified coder

Schedule Monday-Thursday:

8:30 AM-5:00 PM —

In Office Friday:
