Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Apex Staffing, Inc. - 4.4 Little Rock, AR Job Details $20 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Billing and Coding Specialist to oversee the billing operations of our OBGYN clients' office. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge medical billing software to file insurance claims and to manage account receivable and patient accounts. Prior experience is required. Reviews and analyzes medical billing and coding for processing. Accurately abstracts data and codes ambulatory surgery center procedures for reimbursement using ICD-10, CPT, and other applicable patient classification schemes. Skills Knowledge of pertinent Federal, State, and local laws, codes, and regulations related to patient billing and collection. Demonstrated ability to apply all coding rules and use of CPT and ICD codes and appropriate use of modifiers. Minimum Qualifications High school graduation or equivalent. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Medical Billing and Coding Certification with successful completion of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding courses in ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 preferred.
OBGYN Billing and Coding:
3 years (highly preferred) Salary range: $45,000 - $52,000 depending on experience Direct Hire opportunity, with excellent benefit package. #IND
