Job Description
BILLING SPECIALIST PAY
$18.50-$21.00/hourSCHEDULE
- Monday-Friday
- 10:30 AM-7:00 PM
- 8-hour shifts
- One Saturday per month
- Full-time
JOB SUMMARY
Our client is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their long-term care pharmacy team. We're looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused, and adaptable professional who is eager to learn and committed to providing excellent service to our clients and patients.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage
- Process updates to resident profiles accurately
- Admit new residents to the appropriate nursing facilities
- Research and resolve client billing issues
- Maintain accurate billing information
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure accurate and timely billing
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma/GED required
- College degree preferred
- Previous medical billing experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent customer service and phone skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced data entry skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Adaptable and willing to learn
- Dependable and punctual
