This position supports a busy accounting group that needs an experienced, detail-oriented individual who can step in quickly and manage construction-related invoicing with accuracy and consistency. The role is fully onsite and is well suited for someone who understands contract-based billing cycles, can navigate multiple deadlines each month, and is comfortable providing broader accounting support when needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process monthly invoices tied to construction contracts, ensuring billing is completed accurately according to each customer agreement and scheduled deadline.
  • Review contract terms and supporting documentation to confirm charges, payment applications, and billing details before submission.
  • Use billing platforms and accounting systems to enter, track, and maintain invoicing records while keeping documentation organized and current.
  • Support billing periods that may require concentrated effort during key points in the month, including managing high-volume invoice activity.
  • Assist with change order documentation and update billing records to reflect approved project adjustments.
  • Provide backup support for payroll-related tasks and other day-to-day accounting activities as priorities shift.
  • Coordinate with internal team members to resolve discrepancies, answer billing questions, and help keep accounts current.
  • Contribute to general financial and administrative support within the accounting department as needed.
