Role:

As a Temp Skilled Nursing Facility Billing Specialist (Medicaid/HMO), you will be responsible for managing the billing process for our Medicaid and HMO patients, including: Reviewing and analyzing patient records to ensure accurate billing information Processing claims and resolving billing disputes with Medicaid and HMO providers Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and billing documentation Collaborating with the revenue cycle team to identify and resolve billing issues Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Responsibilities:

Manage the billing process for Medicaid and HMO patients, ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims Analyze patient records and identify areas for improvement in billing processes Develop and maintain relationships with Medicaid and HMO providers to resolve billing disputes and improve communication Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance and maintain accurate billing practices Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve billing processes and patient care

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in billing or revenue cycle management in a healthcare setting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers Proficiency in electronic medical records and billing software
