Pay:

$20•$27 We're seeking an experienced Authorization Specialist to join a growing healthcare team. This role focuses on surgical prior authorizations, insurance verification, and accurate documentation to support the scheduling team.

What You'll Do:

Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and obtain prior authorizations Review diagnosis (ICD?10) and CPT codes to meet payer guidelines Work directly with insurance plans and internal clinics (no patient calls) Process and document authorization requests accurately in the system Update demographic information to ensure clean patient records Meet productivity and accuracy standards in a high?volume environment Support training on authorization procedures as needed

What You Bring:

High School Diploma or GED 2+ years in medical billing or authorization Strong knowledge of surgical authorizations, CPT/ICD10 codes, and CMS/insurance guidelines Ophthalmology experience a plus Detail?oriented, reliable, and HIPAA?compliant
