$60,000 - 70,000/year Position Summary A small patent law firm in Beverly Hills is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Billing & Bookkeeping Specialist to manage client billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general bookkeeping functions. The ideal candidate has prior experience with attorney time billing and is comfortable using Clio, QuickBooks Online, and spreadsheets. This position will also provide administrative support for litigation-related matters as needed. Key Responsibilities Prepare pre-bills for attorney review and issue final client invoices using Clio. Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances. Process accounts payable and maintain accurate payment records. Maintain balanced bank account ledgers and assist with reconciliations. Prepare billing, A/R, A/P, and other financial reports. Allocate expenses and costs to the appropriate client matters. Assist with preparing cost estimates for patent, trademark, and copyright matters. Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online. Provide administrative support for litigation-related matters under the direction of the Office Manager. Perform other related administrative and accounting duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous billing, bookkeeping, or accounting support experience. Attorney time billing or law firm billing experience is strongly preferred. Experience with QuickBooks Online. Experience with Clio is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
