The Billing Clerk plays a vital role in the financial operations of the firm. As a Billing Clerk, you will: Generate and distribute invoices to clients Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and payments Collect and process payments Prepare regular reports for management review Assist with other billing-related duties as needed Collaborate with management and staff to resolve billing concerns and improve billing processes and procedure The ideal candidate will be technologically adept and have: Basic knowledge of billing practices and procedures Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Confidence in speaking with clients regarding billing issues Positive attitude and ability to work well both independently and in a group setting Ability to prioritize and multi-task Understanding of basic concepts and terminology related to the legal field (preferred but not required).
