The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical administrative support, clinical assistance, and billing processes within diverse medical settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care excellence while ensuring accurate medical documentation and efficient billing procedures. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in electronic health records management, medical terminology, and patient service, supporting both clinical and administrative functions with professionalism and precision. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, vital signs measurement, and documentation of medical history using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and assist with procedures within various clinical environments. Manage patient records accurately, including updating medical histories and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Support billing processes by verifying insurance information, submitting claims electronically, and following up on unpaid or rejected claims to optimize revenue cycle management. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating follow-up care in outpatient settings. Maintain clinical supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly to uphold safety standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support role within outpatient clinics, hospitals, or specialty practices such as urgent care. Knowledge of medical assisting techniques including vital signs collection, phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS). Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and electronic health records management. Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology. Excellent patient service skills combined with organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
