Billing Assistant (part-time) Livingston Law Firm - 4.0 Walnut Creek, CA Job Details Part-time $25 - $27 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Financial operations Teamwork Multitasking Attention to detail Organizational skills Full Job Description LLF, a boutique civil litigation law firm in Walnut Creek, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Assistant to support our billing department and play a key role in our day-to-day financial operations. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative legal team while gaining hands-on experience with legal billing systems and processes in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with internal and electronic billing and cost recovery programs Enter and track legal expenses for client invoices Upload and manage legal budgets Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports Provide general billing and administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software Prior experience with legal billing and/or accounting systems is a plus, but not required This is a part-time, in-office position of approximately 16-20 hours per week with some flexibility in scheduling.
