Join Our Team at Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc. We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Revenue Cycle Specialist I who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and supporting efficient billing processes while contributing to positive patient and team experience. This position primarily focuses on accurately posting insurance and patient payments, reconciling payment activity, and working payer denials to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement. Key Responsibilities Work proficiently within assigned revenue cycle functions Track missing documentation and ensure timely follow-up with providers, staff, and insurance companies Maintain assigned productivity standards Support the Revenue Cycle Team Lead as needed Prepare, review, and maintain reports and tracking tools (e.g., AR reports, posting ledgers, holding tanks) Provide feedback to providers, clinical staff, and operations teams Collaborate across departments to support communication and workflow efficiency Answer patient calls and assist with billing-related inquiries Contact insurance companies to resolve denials and other issues Maintain billing for non-insurance contracts Provide cross-coverage support for other revenue cycle teams as needed Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of medical billing experience preferred Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Teams; experience with systems like NextGen (electronic health records) preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work collaboratively and maintain productivity standards Positive attitude and alignment with Valley-Wide's mission
