Position Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented office clerk to join our home health agency team. The Office Clerk is responsible for supporting the agency's billing and data entry operations while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements. This position monitors caregiver time records, resolves EVV and timesheet discrepancies, invoices and bills payer claims such as Long Term Care Medicaid, Private, County, etc.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintain accurate and organized billing, payroll, EVV, and timesheet records. Meet established deadlines for billing and payroll processing. Maintain confidentiality of caregiver and client information in accordance with HIPAA and agency policies. Communicate professionally with caregivers, office staff, management, Medicaid plans, and other external parties as needed. Perform other billing, payroll, EVV, and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in home care, nurse registry, healthcare billing, payroll, EVV, or medical billing preferred. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet strict billing and payroll deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel . Experience with HHA Exchange or similar systems is a plus.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
