Position Overview AEC Therapy is seeking an experienced Medical Billing Clerk to support billing operations for our pediatric therapy practice in Alpharetta. The Medical Billing Clerk will support accurate and timely billing for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, including Georgia Medicaid claims, billing follow-up, denials, authorizations, and payer requirements. This position will work closely with clinical and administrative staff and report directly to the CEO. ClinicSource is the primary practice management and billing system used by AEC Therapy. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit accurate and timely claims for ABA services. Process and follow up on Georgia Medicaid billing and related payer requirements. Review claims for accuracy, including authorizations, CPT codes, modifiers, units, and supporting documentation. Research rejected and denied claims and assist with corrections, resubmissions, and appeals. Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims. Maintain timely and accurate billing records and documentation. Communicate with clinical, administrative, authorization, and leadership teams to resolve billing issues. Maintain knowledge of ABA billing practices and Georgia Medicaid requirements. $24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
