Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk, Billing, and Credentialing Specialist to join our Mental Health Team. . This vital role involves managing Client interactions at the front desk, overseeing billing processes, and ensuring accurate medical credentialing for providers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Provider Credentialing and medicaid billing such as Magellan, Molina, UBH and many private insurance co. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors professionally, providing exceptional customer service while managing appointment scheduling and check-in procedures. Process billing transactions accurately using Availity, and other assigned portals. Sending in paper claims through the snail mail and assisting with implementing ensuring compliance with health insurance policies and payer requirements. Manage provider enrollment with various insurance payers, including Medicare and Medicaid programs, and Gains well, SAMHA, maintaining up-to-date credentialing records. Maintain confidential patient and provider information in accordance with Mental health compliance regulations and privacy policies. Collaborate with insurance companies, managed care organizations, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth billing processes and credentialing procedures. Stay informed about changes in Mentalhealth regulation policies, state healthcare regulations, and CMS updates to ensure ongoing compliance across all operations. Experience Proven experience working within a Mental healthcare administrative environment, preferably in clinic setting. Strong knowledge of managed care processes, health insurance policies, and payer enrollment procedures. Familiarity with Mental Health Services provided in the area. Experience reviewing mental health credentialing applications for accuracy and completeness while adhering to regulatory guidelines. Understanding of CMS regulations related to Medicare/Medicaid billing and provider enrollment processes. Contract management experience within healthcare settings is advantageous but not mandatory; however, familiarity with healthcare contracts is preferred. Pay:
$10.67 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
