As a Billing Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing all billing operations and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of billing processes, and the ability to manage a team effectively. You will be responsible for coordinating billing schedules, resolving discrepancies, and working closely with sales, finance, and customer service departments to optimize revenue flow and client satisfaction. This role requires excellent analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the capacity to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce errors. Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end billing process ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoices. Manage and lead the billing team to meet departmental goals and performance standards. Develop and implement billing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance. Coordinate with sales, finance, and customer service departments to resolve billing issues and discrepancies. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments to maintain healthy cash flow. Prepare regular billing reports and financial summaries for senior management review. Train and mentor billing staff to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to best practices. Conduct periodic audits of billing records to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable management. Proven leadership experience managing a billing team or similar financial department. Strong knowledge of billing software systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to resolve billing inquiries. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity in financial data handling. Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
