Job Description

Full-Time, Non-Exempt Reports To :
Senior Accountant Hours :
8 :30am - 5:30pm,
Monday-Friday Job Summary:
Takes phone calls from customers, answers their questions and processes their payments. Monitors insureds' receivables and collections on a daily basis. Prepares various accounting entries and performs accounts payable functions. Processes and monitors checks for the Claims Division. Assists supervisor with various special projects
Skill and Ability Profile:
The individual will have excellent communication and organizational skills, be a good listener, and have the ability to multi-task. The ability to work as part of a team and help whenever necessary is key. The candidate will possess a strong aptitude for detail, a sense of urgency relative to task completion/timeliness and be able to work under tight deadlines. The ability to work independently and take direction is also required.
Required Experience:
Billing Experience Telephone Customer Service:
1 year minimum; 3+ years preferred Working knowledge of computer programs, such as
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
