Position Overview Graphic Village is looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Billing Specialist to support our accounting operations. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with a variety of accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical abilities, excellent customer service skills, and a solid understanding of accounting practices within a fast-paced business environment. Key Responsibilities Process and enter financial information into accounting systems, including Sage, Coupa, Ariba, and other related platforms. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure invoices are coded correctly within the general ledger. Distribute and allocate invoices among appropriate markets, departments, and vendors as needed. Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure the integrity of financial data. Assist with routine bookkeeping and accounting support functions. Address billing-related questions and concerns through phone and email communication in a timely and professional manner. Partner with internal departments and external customers to resolve invoicing issues and determine accurate billing allocations. Utilize accounting knowledge and best practices to support day-to-day financial processes and reporting activities. Required Qualifications & Skills Previous experience working with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or comparable financial systems preferred. Strong data entry capabilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Understanding of government or nonprofit accounting procedures is advantageous. Ability to analyze financial records, reconcile accounts, and identify inconsistencies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional customer service etiquette. Proven ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Strong mathematical aptitude and effective problem-solving skills.
