In this position, you will navigate the unique nuances of optometric billing—expertly evaluating whether a patient visit should be billed through major medical insurance (such as Medicare or commercial plans) or routine vision coverage (such as VSP or EyeMed). You will actively manage claim submissions, scrub billing data for accuracy, perform timely denial follow-ups, post payments, and maintain aging accounts receivable.
