Your primary objective will be to ensure accurate billing, timely submission of claims, and efficient reimbursement from insurance companies or patients. You will work closely with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing issues and discrepancies. This is a temporary to hire position. It is located in the East End and is 100% in office. Pay will depend upon experience. Qualifications
  • Must have NextGen software experience
  • Must have at least 2 years of medical billing experience
  • High School Diploma or GEDsalary:

High SchoolResponsibilities Review and verify patient demographic and insurance information for accuracy. Code and submit medical claims to insurance companies or government agencies using appropriate coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT). Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims, including investigating and resolving billing discrepancies and denials. Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients regarding billing inquiries, payment status, and appeals. Process and post payments, refunds, and adjustments accurately.
