Cambridge Dental Center is seeking a detail oriented and experienced Dental Billing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our practice's financial health by ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient billing operations. Working alongside a team that includes Harvard faculty and world class providers, you will help ensure our patients receive a seamless experience from treatment through billing. Duties Process and submit dental insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner Follow up on outstanding claims, denials, and unpaid balances to ensure timely reimbursement Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to treatment Post insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and write-offs accurately Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim discrepancies and appeal denied claims Maintain accurate patient account records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Generate billing reports and assist with month end reconciliation Communicate professionally with patients regarding account balances, payment plans, and billing inquiries Collaborate with front office and clinical staff to ensure accurate coding and documentation Skills
MUST HAVE DENTAL BILLING EXPERIENCE!
!! Strong knowledge of dental insurance billing procedures, coding, and claims processing Experience with dental practice management and billing software required, CareStack experience is a plus Familiarity with CDT codes and insurance verification processes Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and insurance representatives Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality Join Cambridge Dental Center and become part of a team where precision, professionalism, and patient care come together every day.
