Job Description

MD Pro Solutions, Inc. is an established and reputable medical billing company with 27 years of experience in the medical billing industry. We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working all aspects of the revenue cycle, especially AR follow up. Experience working with Epic is preferred. Full benefits including health, dental, retirement plan, and paid time off upon completion of 90 day probation period.
Responsibilities:
  • Review charges prior to submission
  • Release charges upon thorough review
  • Review clearinghouse rejection reports and correct any errors and resubmit
  • Post insurance payments electronically and manully
  • Post patient payments electronically and manually
  • Perform accounts receivable follow up and resolve all claim denials through corrected claims and appeals process
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, office staff, and providers
  • Maintain quality results by following established policies and procedures
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with regard to all client information. Adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to performance and job responsibilities
  • Respond to inquiries regarding billing and account related matters
  • Other duties as assigned by
Supervisor Qualifications:
  • High school graduate
  • Minimum five years' work experience relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the position required
  • Excellent organization and communication skills. Must be able to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines
  • Experience with practice management and EHR platforms including but not limited to Epic, Nextech, ECW, ADS, Modernizing Medicine, MacPractice, etc.
