We are a growing anesthesia billing services company seeking experienced and detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialists to join our team. We have opportunities for professionals with experience in Charge Entry and Accounts Receivable Follow-Up. Position Responsibilities Charge Entry Specialist Enter patient charges accurately and efficiently. Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility. Provide exceptional customer service to patients. Process insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner. Utilize insurance portals to review claim status. Research and resolve claim denials, taking appropriate corrective action. Maintain accurate documentation within patient accounts. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely claim submission and reimbursement. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 1 years of medical billing experience. Experience with charge entry, accounts receivable follow-up, payment posting, or a combination of these functions preferred. Knowledge of insurance verification claims processing, and denial management. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team. Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. Preferred Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding concepts. Technical Skills Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with electronic medical billing software and practice management systems. Familiarity with insurance carrier websites and electronic clearinghouses. Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
